New Delhi: In a horrifying incident in Mumbai's Govandi area, a 17-year-old boy was brutally killed after being attacked with a sword by a group of three to four individuals, including a minor. The attack, which took place on a busy street, was captured on video and surfaced on the social media platform X on Tuesday, August 13, sparking widespread outrage.
The victim, identified as Ahmed Pathan, succumbed to his injuries after being repeatedly struck by the assailants. The incident occurred in the Shivaji Nagar area of Govandi. According to reports, Ahmed was attacked in broad daylight, with bystanders too terrified to intervene as the attackers mercilessly struck him with swords and sticks.
Initial investigations suggest that the victim and the attackers were known to each other and had engaged in a heated argument around 15 days before the fatal incident. The police believe the attack was premeditated and executed after careful planning by the assailants.

The video of the attack, which has since gone viral, shows one of the assailants repeatedly striking Ahmed with a sword as he lay bleeding on the road. The footage has sparked shock and anger across social media.The police have launched an investigation into the incident and have arrested four individuals, including a woman. The authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover further details about the crime.
