New Delhi: In a horrifying incident in Mumbais Govandi area, a 17-year-old boy was brutally killed after being attacked with a sword by a group of three to four individuals, including a minor. The attack, which took place on a busy street, was captured on video and surfaced on the social media platform X on Tuesday, August 13, sparking widespread outrage.The victim, identified as Ahmed Pathan, succumbed to his injuries after being repeatedly struck by the assailants. The incident occurred in the Shivaji Nagar area of Govandi. According to reports, Ahmed was attacked in broad daylight, with bystanders too terrified to intervene as the attackers mercilessly struck him with swords and sticks.Attack linked to previous disputeInitial investigations suggest that the victim and the attackers were known to each other and had engaged in a heated argument around 15 days before the fatal incident. He named Bhuttu and his wife, who have been arrested by the police, as key suspects.
