MP man attacks his wife with sharp weapon, beheads her

Morena Crime: A shocking crime incident has surfaced in Madhya Pradesh's Morena district. A husband is accused of murdering his wife by slitting her throat and then beheading her. The suspect fled the scene but was later apprehended by the police. The gruesome murder took place in the Ambah area, under the jurisdiction of the Ambah police station. Anand Sharma, the accused, lived with his wife Chhaya (24) on Pooth Road in Ambah. The crime was discovered in the morning when Chhaya's brother received disturbing news about his sister's death. 

Chhaya's brother tried calling her, but there was no response. When he also couldn’t reach Anand, he decided to visit their home. Upon arrival, he was met with a horrifying scene: the house was covered in blood, and Chhaya's body was found in the courtyard. Her head was lying nearby.

Police response

The police were quickly informed and officers from Ambah police station arrived at the scene. The family of the deceased immediately pointed fingers at Chhaya’s husband, Anand. Senior police officials and a Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team were also called to conduct a thorough investigation.

What was his motive?

According to police, initial investigations suggest that the murder might have stemmed from a domestic dispute. The police have taken Anand Sharma into custody and are currently questioning him to uncover more details about the motive and circumstances, which led to this brutal act.
