A nearby villager rushed to the school upon hearing the child's cries and confronted the teacher. Medha, still inebriated, claimed that he was punishing the students for not paying attention in class. When warned that his actions were being recorded, Medha allegedly responded arrogantly, saying, “You can shoot the video, but nobody will be able to do anything to me.”
District authorities have launched a probe into the incident, and a criminal case is being registered against Medha for his misconduct. Based on the girl's statement, local authorities confirmed that Medha will face disciplinary and legal action for his inappropriate behavior.
