Punjab is witnessing a severe breakdown of law and order, leaving its residents in constant fear for their safety. Whether at work, home, or on the streets, the threat of being attacked or robbed looms large. The situation has worsened in recent months, with crime rates spiking dramatically.

One such alarming incident occurred in Dunneke, Moga, where Rajesh, a local businessman, was brutally assaulted in broad daylight while seated in his medical shop. Armed assailants attacked him with weapons, looted cash, and stole his iPhone, leaving him critically injured. Rajesh is now fighting for his life in a hospital, but the attackers remain at large.

According to the reports, the number of cases of snatching, violent assaults, robberies, shootings, and even ransom demands are increasing day by day. The increasing frequency of such crimes has left citizens anxious and vulnerable, as they feel that no place is truly safe anymore.

Many have begun to question the efficacy of law and order. Critics argue that the administration has lost its grip on law enforcement, and the situation is spiraling out of control. Despite repeated calls for action, there seems to be no concrete response from the authorities to address the escalating crime wave.
