Modi is useless, throw him out: Subramanian Swamy lashes out on PM (TheIndiaDaily)

New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party's senior leader Subramanian Swamy has openly criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking on India Daily Live's India Manch, Swamy stated, "What PM Modi is doing is not in the interest of our party. That is why I speak out, while others are afraid. I am not afraid."

On his relationship with PM Modi, Swamy stated that he had supported Modi in the past to defeat Congress. "I have helped Modi earlier because, at that time, it was necessary to defeat Congress, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi," he stated.

Open criticism on India Manch

Known for his blunt statements, Swamy emphasized his straightforward approach, saying, "I do not talk in the middle. I only see black and white. I say Modi is useless, throw him out." He elaborated on his stance by saying, "Those who behave well with me, I reciprocate. Those who behave badly, I retaliate." He recalled the Emergency period, stating, "Indira Gandhi behaved very badly during the emergency. I was sent to jail for 20 days."

Issues with Modi's policies

Swamy criticized Modi's handling of various issues, including national security and economic policies. "What he is doing is not in the interest of our party. I speak openly, while others are afraid to speak. It is difficult to remain silent when China occupied 4,000 square kilometers of Ladakh, and he says no one came, no one went. He has mishandled the economy and unethically promoted Adani," Swamy stated.

Strong disapproval of Congress

Swamy also reiterated his opposition to the Congress party. He said, "I can never align with Congress. I have even taken legal steps to send Sonia Gandhi to jail."

He reiterated his firm stance against Congress, saying, "Congress can never be with me. Just a week ago, I went to Delhi High Court to send Sonia Gandhi to jail." He accused Modi of knowing about China's aggressive actions from the beginning but failing to address them publicly. "China attacked here when he was Prime Minister. I have information, but the media is too scared to report it," he added.

Internal politics

Swamy also recounted his long history with Modi, saying, "When Modi became Chief Minister, he used to call me because the RSS was against him. At that time, I felt it was necessary to defeat him. Others were compromising, like Arun Jaitley, who was a minister and worked with Congress. Advani had given them a lot of freedom. I wanted Modi to take strict action against them, but now he prefers to keep them hanging for political convenience."

Swamy concluded his statements with a clear call for change within the party. "When I fight, I do not see who is good. I only see black and white. Modi is useless, remove him," he declared.
