Moradabad: A case of brutality has come to light from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. According to the report, a 14-year-old Dalit girl was kidnapped and allegedly gang-raped for 2 months in the district. Not only this, the victim was also tortured. According to the complaint filed by the victim's family, the accused named Salman, Zubair, Rashid and Arif forcibly made her sit in the car, made her unconscious by feeding her intoxicants and took her to an unknown place, where they locked her in a room and repeatedly assaulted her.
Police said that four people were involved in this incident, one of them has been arrested. While three accused are still absconding. According to the complaint filed by the victim's family, the girl was on her way to the tailor when some goons kidnapped her.
Burnt the tattoo on the hand with acid
police station in-charge said that according to the complaint filed by the girl's family, while keeping the girl hostage, the accused burnt the 'Om' tattoo on her hand with acid and forcibly fed her meat and tortured her further.
Case registered under various sections
This torture continued for two months, after which she somehow escaped and returned home on March 2. Her family immediately lodged a police complaint, following which a case was registered at Bhagatpur police station under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.
Pressure on family to withdraw case
SP confirmed the incident and said that one of the accused, Salman, was arrested on Tuesday and sent to jail. The search is on for the other three. Meanwhile, the girl's family has alleged that they are being threatened and pressured to withdraw the case.
