Uttar Pradesh: In a peculiar turn of events, a man from Hardoi, called the police late at night to report the theft of 250 grams of peeled potatoes. Allegedly under the influence of alcohol, the man was outraged by the robbery and demanded that police locate his missing potatoes. Officers responded to the call and recorded the amusing incident on video, which quickly went viral on social media.The man, who identified himself as Vijay Verma, explained to the police that he had prepared the potatoes earlier in the evening, peeling them in preparation for cooking. After stepping out to have a drink, he returned only to find his potatoes gone. Frustrated, he dialled the emergency number, 112, requesting the police investigate the matter.
