In an alarming display of criminal activity, a Mahindra showroom in Hisar, Haryana, owned by INLDs national vice president Rambhagat Gupta, became the target of a violent attack. On Monday, three masked miscreants stormed the Mahindra showroom in the new auto market of Hisar around 3 PM. Armed with weapons, they fired approximately 30 rounds, shattering the showrooms front glass and damaging a cars windshield. Attackers demand Rs 5 crore ransomThe sound of gunfire created panic, causing people to seek shelter in nearby shops. The attackers fled the scene after leaving behind a ransom note demanding 5 crore rupees. The note, written in Hindi, began with Jai Shri Ram.It stated, Pay ₹5 crore, or we will not allow you to operate in the showroom.Proximity to Police StationThe incident is particularly shocking given the showrooms location, just 100 meters from the City Police Station and a police post near GJU. He emphasized that traders are increasingly becoming targets for robberies and extortion. Garg warned that if the criminals are not apprehended soon, the traders might shut down the auto market in protest. He urged the police to take immediate and decisive action to restore safety and order.Police responseHisar SP Mohit Handa assured the public that the police are taking the incident very seriously. He stated that teams have been formed to apprehend the criminals and that clues have been gathered from CCTV footage. Handa appealed for public calm and cooperation, promising that the perpetrators would be caught and brought to justice soon.
