Delhi Crime News: Delhi Police have arrested two suspects, Mehraj Salmani and Asif, accused of murdering a Hindu taxi driver, Bijendra, in a shocking incident that has shaken the capital. The suspects allegedly hired Bijendra's taxi, then dragged him to his death before discarding his body by the roadside in Mahipalpur, South Delhi.
According to police sources, Salmani and Asif reportedly hailed Bijendra's taxi under the pretense of a ride. During the journey, they allegedly assaulted him, leading to his tragic death. After the murder, they abandoned Bijendra’s body in a secluded area in Mahipalpur and fled the scene, evading capture.
Following the murder, the suspects fled to Meerut in an attempt to escape detection. However, swift police action and thorough investigation led to their capture in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Both Salmani and Asif are now in custody, with further investigations underway to uncover any additional motives behind this brutal act.
