Lover kills child in Meerut: In a shocking incident, a woman's lover brutally killed her two-and-a-half-year-old child and attempted to murder the woman by slitting her throat. The horrifying crime took place in the Achhronda forest area of Partapur.

A minor dispute escalates to murder

The accused, identified as Salim, reportedly became enraged over a small argument and, in a fit of anger, threw the child, killing him instantly. Not stopping there, Salim then attacked his girlfriend, trying to slit her throat with a knife. However, the woman managed to escape his grasp and screamed for help.

Bystanders intervene, video surfaces

As the woman's cries for help echoed through the forest, a crowd of people rushed to the scene. Upon seeing them approach, Salim fled, leaving the woman severely injured. Despite his attempt to escape, the police quickly apprehended the accused after launching an intense search.

Police arrest and recovery

The police successfully arrested Salim and recovered the body of the young child. The woman, though critically injured, is receiving medical treatment, and her condition remains serious.
