New Delhi: A distressing incident has come to light from Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh, where a 32-year-old Maulvi allegedly raped a girl who was arrested by the local police as a result of the heinous act of crime that he committed. A shameful incident which came to light in Ghaziabad has left everyone in shock. A case of rape of a 22-year-old girl by a 32-year-old Maulvi has emerged from here. The Maulvi is also accused of making a video while he raped the girl. The Ghaziabad police have already arrested the accused Maulvi. Police said that the accused used to physically exploit the girl and was continuously threatening her. What actually happenedThe matter is of Masuri police station area of Ghaziabad. Rural area Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vivek Chandra Yadav, quoting the complaint registered in this case, said that a 22-year-old girl who lived in Mussoorie police station area in Ghaziabad district used to go to study at Maulvi Jabbars place two years ago. During that time the Maulvi used to rape her.The Maulvi is also alleged of making the video of the act that he used to commit. He also threatened the young woman of making the video viral on the internet if she refuse to make further physical relation with him. Meanwhile, the video of the incident recently went viral in the village. When it reached the local police they went and informed the girls parent regarding this incident. Police investigation underwayAfter the matter came to light, an FIR was lodged against the Maulvi. Yadav said that the police have registered an FIR in the case against the accused Maulvi under sections of the Indian Penal Code including 376 (rape), 328 (giving intoxicant with intent to commit crime) and 506 (criminal intimidation).The DCP said that the mobile phone of the Maulvi has been confiscated and the victim has been sent for medical examination. He further said that the police is tracking down the culprits who deliberately made the video public.
