Kharge denounced the government throughout this and claimed that the states were being discriminated against. According to Kharge, every states plate was empty in the Union Budget, which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented, with the exception of Andhra Pradesh and Bihar. No state got anything, he remarked, naming states including his own Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.
