Massive Blaze at NTPC Solar Plant Warehouse in Dahod, Gujarat Destroys Goods Worth Over ₹400 Crore

A major fire has been reported from Dahod in Gujarat. A massive fire broke out in a warehouse storing material for the 70 MW solar plant under construction by central public sector NTPC in Dahod, Gujarat. Officials have given this information. 

Trying to put out the fire all night
The police officer further said, about seven to eight employees and four security guards present at the spot were rescued safely and there was no report of any casualty. The officer said, 'This has caused heavy damage to the warehouse. 

The official further said, 'The control room received information about the fire at around 9.35 am and immediately fire tenders were sent from Dahod, Jhaloda, Chhota Udaipur and Godhra to control the fire, but due to strong winds we faced challenges.'

Gujarat Fire Horror
The rescue operation began at around 9.45 pm, but the fire spread rapidly due to air pressure. All the material kept in the godown was burnt to ashes, causing huge losses, he said.
