Talking Tiwari said, "This Holi is really special for Delhi. For the first time after a long time, Delhi is celebrating the Holi of victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party. We are celebrating this moment with great enthusiasm. Tiwari sent his greetings for Holi to the Indians, stressing unity and harmony at the time of the festival."I wish everyone in the country a very happy Holi.
We must all live in harmony. Holi is a celebration of great happiness and brotherhood," he added. Against the AAP's continued protests, Tiwari criticized their method, saying, "Their sole work is to protest. They have not done anything till date. But we are providing free cylinders to women who are in need of them. The parameters have been laid down, and gradually all the work will be completed."
The AAP has been demonstrating, claiming that the new BJP government in Delhi has not kept its promises. The BJP had promised to give free cylinders on Holi and Diwali, but the AAP says these were just election gimmicks. On the question of draping mosques during Holi festivities, Tiwari stressed harmony, stating, "Everyone should coexist together. The festival of Holi should be enjoyed together by all." To further contribute to the festive mood, Manoj Tiwari also sang a well-known Holi song, "Holi Khele Raghubira Awadh Mein," spreading festive cheer in the air.
