Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the 105th episode of Mann Ki Baat on Sunday where he emphasised on the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor, proposed during the G20 Summit. Modi said in this episode that this Economic Corridor would go on to become a cornerstone of global trade for times to come.While addressing the Sunday episode of Mann Ki Baat, Modi remembered the glory India had earlier and said “When India was very prosperous, silk routes were widely discussed in the country and the world. Now in modern times, India has suggested another economic corridor during the G20. He further said that the success of these two events has doubled the happiness of every Indian.“More than 80 lakh people watched Chandrayaan-3 landing on the Moon on ISROs YouTube channel,” Modi said.He also urged the people to participate in Chandrayaan-3 Mahaquiz.G20 University Connect ProgrammePM Modi said that the G20 University Connect program will be held in India and urged students to participate in it. He said that many prestigious institutions like IITs, IITs, NITs, and Medical Colleges will also participate in the G20 University Connect Programme. Modi said that he would also attend this programme which would involve students from the top colleges of the country.World Tourism DayWorld Tourism Day is set to be celebrated on 27 September. PM Modi during the Mann Ki Baat programme said fascination towards India has risen a lot in the last few years.“More than one lakh delegates came to India for the G-20. They got acquainted with the diversity, different traditions, different types of cuisines and our heritages”.Moreover, Rabindranath Tagores Santaniketan and the Hoysala temples of Karnataka were included in the UNESCO World Heritage List recently. ” The total number of World Heritage Properties in India has now reached 42,” he said.Modi on Gandhi JayantiModi also brought to notice, the upcoming Gandhi Jayanti and mentioned the tribute paid to Bapu in Rajghat by the world leaders at G20 Summit.He said “During the G20 summit, who can forget the sight when world leaders reached Rajghat together to pay homage to Bapu. This beautifully proves how relevant Bapus thoughts are even today across the world.”Modi also expressed his happiness with the programs related to cleanliness that have been planned across the country on Gandhi Jayanti.He said “Swachhata hi Seva campaign is underway with great enthusiasm. The Indian Swachata League is also reaching great participation.”The event will take place on Sunday, October 1 at 10 a.m., according to Modi.
