Man ties, sets ablaze six-month pregnant wife in Amritsar

A horrific incident has been reported from Punjab’s Amritsar where man has allegedly set his six-month pregnant ablaze after tying her on the bed. The victim has been identified as Pinky who was pregnant with twins. The incident has been reported from Buled Nangal Village in Rayya area of Amritsar.

According to the officials, the couple often had quarrels. On Friday also they both got involved in the heated argument following which, the accused, Sukhdev tied Pinky and set her on fire.

Sukhdev fled from the spot after the incident and is still absconding. Meanwhile, the police have started the search operations and initiated an investigation.
