A disturbing video showing a dog being viciously beaten has gone viral on social media, originating from Baghpat in Uttar Pradesh. The incident reportedly occurred near the Baraut Kotwali area, where several bystanders were present.
Following the widespread dissemination of the video, local authorities have taken action, registering a case against the youth identified as the perpetrator. The police have initiated efforts to locate and apprehend the accused.
Chief Officer (CO) of Baraut confirmed the incident, stating that the video captures a young man assaulting a dog within the Baraut police station's jurisdiction. The footage depicts the accused repeatedly throwing and mistreating the dog, while other dogs in the vicinity bark helplessly. Despite pleas from onlookers heard in the video urging him to stop, the perpetrator continued the assault. The Baghpat Police shared the video on social media, announcing the registration of a case at Baraut police station and assuring swift legal action.
