The viral video captured a local reporter confronting the man, referencing allegations of biased demolitions targeting Muslim households. In response, the man invites CM Yogi to execute demolition activities on his property, defiantly proclaiming his address. He escalates the rhetoric, issuing a direct threat to 'butcher' Yogi like a sacrificial animal. The video was shared by numerous users on various social media platforms and attracted significant public interest, leading to demands for action against the person shown.
Promptly responding to the video, the police took immediate action, apprehending the individual identified as Shamim. Shamim, a resident of Lal Gopalganj town in Prayagraj, was taken into custody as soon as the police reached the mentioned address.

Following his arrest, another video surfaced featuring Shamim pleading for forgiveness, claiming he made the threat under the influence of intoxication. He acknowledges the development brought by CM Yogi but alleges that his apology video was not shared by the media.
In the initial viral video, Shamim challenges CM Yogi to use a bulldozer on his house, threatening to 'slaughter' him like a goat. Prayagraj Police registered an FIR against Shamim after the video circulated on social media, highlighting the seriousness of the threat made against the Chief Minister.
