New Delhi: In a disturbing incident reported from Ghaziabad's Modinagar, a B.Ed student has alleged that she was raped by her classmate after being lured to an Oyo hotel under false pretenses. The alleged crime took place approximately a year ago, and the victim has only recently come forward to file a formal complaint with the police.

The victim, a resident of Khoda area in Ghaziabad, was pursuing her B.Ed degree from a college in Noida. She met the accused, who was also a student at her college, and they developed a friendship. According to the victim’s allegations, the accused invited her to Modinagar, claiming he wanted to give her a book. Upon her arrival, the accused reportedly deceived her and took her to an Oyo hotel instead. 

Accused drugged her drink 

At the hotel, the victim alleges that the accused drugged her drink, leading to her being sexually assaulted. She further claims that the accused threatened her and her family with death if she reported the incident. Despite the threats, the victim has now lodged an FIR at the Modinagar police station.

Muradnagar case: Instagram friend arrested for exploiting B.Com student

In a separate case in Muradnagar, Ghaziabad, another troubling incident has emerged involving a B.Com student. The student alleges that an Instagram friend exploited her under false promises of marriage. The victim, a first-year B.Com student, reported that she had been in a physical relationship with Ujjwal, a resident of Jeetpur Colony, for the past year and a half. The accused allegedly misled her with promises of marriage, only to later refuse to follow through.

Following the victim's complaint, the police have registered a report and arrested the accused. The case highlights serious issues of exploitation and deceit, underscoring the need for vigilance and justice in cases of interpersonal fraud and abuse.
