Man slips in between platform, train; RPF officers saves life, video surfaces

New Delhi: A disturbing video has surfaced across social media from Maharahtra's Bandra Terminus where a man slipped and fell in between a moving train and the platform while attempting to catch a train. Instantly an attentive Railway Protection Force (RPF) officer managed to reach in time and pull the stuck person. The officer saved his life and prevented a serious accident that could have possibly claimed a life. 

What happened?

The incident occurred at the busy Bandra Terminus in Mumbai. The train started moving and the passenger was in a rush to board. He lost his footing and fell onto the platform edge. It was a moment of panic but the nearby RPF officer stationed at the platform acted quickly. With instant action and his body strength, he reached out and grabbed the passenger, pulling him away from danger just in time.

Earlier, in a separate terrifying incident, a 50-year-old woman survived after she fell on the track and a train passed over her at Belapur station in Navi Mumbai. The video of the incident has surfaced on the internet and sent chills down the spines of netizens. The video shows the train reversing to reveal the woman lying underneath. She jolts up and sits upright as railway personnel rush to protect her. Despite the miraculous survival, reports indicate that the woman lost both her legs.
