Man shoots another person for plucking jamuns in Bihar, here's what happened

In Shahpur, a dispute arose between two groups of youths over picking jamuns, leading to a shot being fired and injuring one youth, Talib. The incident occurred when three youths from Barwala village confronted Shahzad and his companions, resulting in a verbal altercation.

New Delhi: An unusual incident happened in Shahpur, Muzaffarpur district of Uttar Pradesh where an altercation occurred between two groups of youths when one of the group was returning after picking jamuns. During the dispute, a shot was fired, resulting in one youth being injured. The injured youth was admitted to the CHC.

When did the incident occured?

Shahzad, a resident of Sanjhak village, reported to the police station that on Wednesday, he, along with Talib, Mohsin, and Nauman, was returning from picking jamuns from trees along the embankment between Barwala and Mandi villages. During this time, three youths from Barwala village arrived on a motorcycle and told them not to eat or pick the jamuns.

This led to a verbal altercation and abuse between the two groups. During the altercation, a youth named Upendra fired a shot from a homemade gun, injuring Talib. The bullet grazed his waist, causing severe injury. Talib's companions took him to Shahpur police station and informed the police.

Police admits the injured to the hospital 

The police admitted Talib to the local CHC, from where he was referred to the district hospital. The police have stated that they will take action after conducting an investigation. The accused shooter, Upendra, son of Kala and a resident of Barwala, is currently evading police arrest. The police are confident that they will capture him soon. Upendra fired at Talib and was subsequently seen holding the pistol while threatening others. A video of this incident has also gone viral on social media.
