Danish, who worked for a Hindu businessman, allegedly installed a secret camera in the family's bathroom. He then used footage of the businessman's daughter bathing to blackmail and repeatedly rape her. The severity of the crime has raised serious concerns about household safety and trust.

The victim's family had provided Danish with accommodation and meals, treating him as a trusted member of their household staff. This trust was shattered when they discovered his heinous actions. The young woman, struggling with depression following the ordeal, eventually confided in her family about the abuse.
When confronted, Danish refused to delete the compromising videos. Instead, he attempted to extort money from the family, threatening to share the content online and with relatives if his demands weren't met. After the family's refusal, he allegedly circulated the private videos and photos on social media platforms, exacerbating the victim's trauma.
The victim's mother filed a police complaint, leading to Danish's arrest. Station House Officer Brijesh Chandra Tiwari confirmed that a case has been registered under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Information Technology Act. The charges include rape, extortion, and criminal intimidation.
"Further legal proceedings are underway to ensure that Danish faces the consequences of his reprehensible actions," SHO Tiwari stated.
The incident has sparked outrage in the community, with calls for increased vigilance and stronger safety measures in residential areas. Local authorities are urging residents to report any suspicious activities to prevent similar crimes in the future.
As the legal process unfolds, the victim is receiving counselling and support coordinated by the police. The community has rallied around the family, offering solidarity and demanding swift justice.
