Telangana: A lorry owner, Anil Goud, created a dramatic scene outside the Peddapalli Regional Transport Office (RTO) by climbing atop his vehicle and threatening to grab live electric wires. His protest was in response to alleged harassment by transport officials demanding bribes. Allegations of corruption against RTO officials

Anil Goud accused RTO officials of demanding a monthly bribe of ₹8,000 from each lorry owner. He alleged that when he refused to comply, officials retaliated by filing a false case against his vehicle. Despite possessing all necessary documents, Goud claimed his lorry was unfairly seized, leaving him with no option but to take drastic measures to bring attention to the issue.

In the viral video, he can be seen furiously throwing cash from the top of his vehicle, visibly enraged by the alleged extortion.
