New Delhi: In a horrifying incident, a young woman from Ghaziabad was allegedly raped and physically assaulted by her fiancé and his friends during a trip to Rishikesh. The accused, identified as Anshu Chaudhary, took the victim to Rishikesh where the assault took place. The brutality of the attack has left the victim with severe injuries, including bite marks on her body.

Brutality in Rishikesh hotel

According to the victim’s statement, Anshu Chaudhary, who was engaged to her, took her to Rishikesh under the pretense of a trip. Once they reached the hotel, Anshu's behavior took a violent turn. He raped her and left bite marks on eight different parts of her body, subjecting her to immense physical pain and trauma.

His friends also assaulted her on return to Ghaziabad

The ordeal did not end in Rishikesh. While returning to Ghaziabad, Anshu called three of his friends—Aditya Kapoor, Yash Aujal, and Mustafa—to join him. The three men then molested the woman and later threw her out of the car near a petrol pump, abandoning her in a traumatized state.

All accused arrested

Following the incident, the victim bravely reported the assault to the authorities. After recording her statement before the court, police swiftly acted on the case. Anshu Chaudhary, along with his friends Aditya Kapoor, Yash Aujal, and Mustafa, were arrested and are now in custody. The police are continuing their investigation to ensure that justice is served.

This appalling case of violence highlights the cruelty faced by the victim at the hands of her own fiancé and his accomplices. The police's timely arrests have brought the perpetrators to justice, but the incident underscores the need for stricter measures to protect women from such heinous acts of brutality.
