New Delhi: In a shocking incident in Mason village near Bhanwarkol, the owner of a garden allegedly assaulted a teenager for plucking a mango from a tree on Tuesday. Anil Yadav, a resident, was passing by the orchard on his bicycle when he noticed a ripe mango and attempted to pluck it. The garden owner, identified as Chandrajit, confronted Yadav and violently attacked him with a stick.
The assault, captured on video, quickly circulated on social media platforms, triggering widespread outrage and condemnation.

Upon receiving a complaint from the victim's father, the police swiftly registered a case against Chandrajit late in the evening. They initiated a search operation and apprehended him.
Chandrajit was arrested and formally charged on Wednesday. He has been booked under relevant sections of the law.
Anil Yadav, the teenager, sustained serious injuries and has been admitted to the Medical College Hospital for medical treatment. The incident has sparked concern among locals in Mason village, highlighting the need for peaceful resolution of disputes and respect for the law. Police continue to investigate the matter while ensuring the victim receives necessary medical attention.
