In a shocking incident, a man named Jalaluddin was severely beaten on charges of stealing vegetables, specifically ridge gourd, from a farm in Bareilly. The brutal attack, which took place after the accusation was made, involved tying Jalaluddin’s hands and legs before beating him while he lay helpless on the ground.

The incident occurred on a farm owned by Chandrapal. Following the incident, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against three individuals: Chandrapal, Indrapal, and Nanhi Devi, who were accused of assaulting Jalaluddin. The FIR also included charges against Jalaluddin for the alleged theft of the vegetables.

Local authorities are investigating the matter, aiming to determine the full circumstances surrounding the event.

The incident has sparked concerns about the rising incidents of mob justice and vigilantism, where individuals take the law into their own hands rather than reporting suspected crimes to the police.

Meanwhile, another incident has been reported from Uttar Pradesh, where Saurabh Babbar, the owner of Sai Jewelers in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and his wife, Mona Babbar, ended their lives by jumping into the Ganga River in Haridwar. The couple’s tragic act was motivated by overwhelming financial debt, as revealed in a suicide note found after the incident.

Before taking this fatal step, Saurabh reportedly took a selfie at the riverbank and shared it with his friends on WhatsApp, signaling the couple's tragic intent. Shortly after, the couple jumped into the river together. While Saurabh's body has been recovered, the search for Mona's body is still underway.

This heart-wrenching incident highlights the severe impact of financial stress and the desperate measures some may feel compelled to take when faced with insurmountable debt.
