Man attempts mobile snatching with sharp weapon, incident caught on camera | WATCH

New Delhi: A disturbing incident occurred in Mumbai's Dharavi area on 90 Feet Road, behind Indian Bank, at around 9:24 AM. A man was brutally attacked with a chopper, and the entire incident was caught on CCTV. The footage shows a shocking display of violence, resulting in severe injuries to the victim, who is now in serious condition at a hospital.

The CCTV footage reveals a harrowing incident in which an individual, wielding a sharp weapon, attempted to rob a passerby of their mobile phone. When the victim courageously resisted the attacker's demands, the situation rapidly deteriorated, and the assailant unleashed a ferocious and unprovoked attack, brutally striking the victim with the weapon. The sudden and intense nature of the assault, which was characterized by its viciousness and severity, left the victim with severe injuries.

Four suspects arrested

As the brutal attack sparked a commotion, bystanders rushed to the scene, prompting the assailant to attempt a hasty escape. However, his efforts to flee were thwarted by the swift response of the Mumbai Police, who promptly apprehended him. Following the arrest, authorities have taken four individuals into custody in connection with the violent assault. The police are now conducting a comprehensive investigation to determine the underlying motive behind the attack and to identify any additional suspects who may have been involved, ensuring a thorough examination of the incident to bring all perpetrators to justice.
