Surprising details have emerged from the FIR lodged by Swati Maliwal in Delhi, shedding light on a disturbing incident. Swati Maliwal, the chief of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) and an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, has accused Bibhav Kumar of severely assaulting her at the Chief Minister's residence on May 13.
In her statement to the police, Swati Maliwal described the harrowing attack: "Bibhav Kumar had said that he will finish you off. I was sitting in the drawing room of the CM residence when he attacked me. He hit me badly on my neck, stomach, and chest. It felt like Bibhav Kumar would take my life."
"I was in excruciating pain. This was one of the most difficult moments of my life. He continuously beat me on my head, chest, and neck. My arms were swollen, and my stomach was in severe pain. I had difficulty walking," Swati Maliwal further stated.
Expressing her shock and disbelief, Swati Maliwal continued, "I have always fought for women's justice in my life, and yet I became a victim of such violence. It's devastating that I was attacked by someone whom I've known for a long time. I am extremely upset. How could someone commit such hooliganism? It took me 3 days to gather the courage to lodge my complaint."
"I request the strictest action in this case. I am appalled that this attack occurred at the CM residence," she added.
