According to reports, the young victim was first sexually assaulted, and then mercilessly killed by being pelted with stones. The gruesome incident has sparked widespread protests and outrage from the local residents, who are demanding swift and severe action against the perpetrators, insisting that they be brought to justice and punished to the fullest extent of the law for their monstrous crime. This shocking incident follows another case from August in Badlapur, where two minor girls were also sexually abused.Chopra City Police Inspector Madhukar Salve confirmed that the suspect in the murder of a 13-year-old girl has been taken into custody. According to Inspector Salve, the victim was brutally killed by being struck with a stone. While the arrest has been made, the police investigation is still underway to uncover the full circumstances surrounding the heinous crime.Kalyan rape case, relatives arrestedIn a separate incident in Kalyan, Thane district, a 27-year-old woman was brutally raped and assaulted by her father-in-law and brother-in-law on September 6. The perpetrators, accompanied by a minor, forcibly entered the victims hut and subjected her to a vicious attack, leaving her with severe injuries, including stab wounds and sickle attacks.Murbad Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jagdish Shinde confirmed the heinous crime, stating that the woman was not only raped but also beaten mercilessly. Tragically, the victim faced further brutality when she reported the assault to her husband, who instead of offering support, inflicted additional beatings. The survivor is currently undergoing treatment at Thane Civil Hospital, highlighting the urgent need for swift justice and support for victims of such horrific crimes.Case has been registeredA case of gang rape and grievous bodily harm has been registered.
