Crime News: A shocking incident has come to light from Uttar Pradesh's Neemuch, where a 19-year-old girl was repeatedly stabbed by a former classmate in broad daylight in full view of dozens of bystanders Wednesday. Instead of intervening most onlookers were more concerned with recording the brutal attack on their cameras, leaving the victim to bleed on the ground.

The attacker, brandishing a bloodied knife, claimed to have exacted revenge for a perceived 'betrayal' while the girl lay helpless, as the gruesome scene continued to unfold, captured on video by the unresponsive crowd.

Couple's dispute ends in brutal stabbing

According to police reports, miraculously the 19-year-old girl identified as Tasleem managed to survive the brutal attack, despite suffering seven stab wounds, and was rushed to a hospital, where she is currently in stable condition.

Neemuch Superintendent of Police, Ankit Jaiswal, identifies the assailant as Kuldeep Verma, a 23-year-old private school teacher. According to Ankit Jaiswal, the attacker Kuldeep Verma and the victim Tasleem had a prior connection, having attended the same school and previously being in a romantic relationship. They had gone to Gandhi Vatika in the Cantonment police station area to discuss an issue, but their conversation turned violent, culminating in Kuldeep stabbing the girl repeatedly.

Witnesses described a harrowing scene, where the severely injured girl collapsed to the ground, yet bystanders failed to intervene or offer assistance.

Police take injured girl to hospital

Following the brutal attack, Kuldeep Verma continued to rant and rave for some time before calmly walking away from the scene, unimpeded. Neemuch police subsequently arrived, providing medical attention to the injured woman and taking her to the district hospital.

Later, her family opted to transfer her to a private hospital for further treatment. Authorities successfully tracked down and apprehended Verma, a resident of Kesarpura. Although rumors circulated about his alleged affiliation with the National Students' Union of India (NSUI), police did not confirm this information.
