Lucknow: Medical student alleges sexual harassment, blackmail by teacher at BJP MLA's college

New Delhi: In a shocking revelation, a medical student at BJP MLA Neeraj Bora’s college, Bora Institute of Allied Health Sciences in Lucknow, has accused a teacher of coercing her into sexual relations under threat of academic failure. Teacher forcefully took photos

The victim, a resident of Sitapur, enrolled in the institute in 2021. She alleges that approximately a year ago, teacher Shivam Singh followed her to the Hanuman Dham temple, where he forcefully took photos of her and later edited them to appear obscene. Singh then used these photos to blackmail her, demanding sexual favors and threatening to make the images viral on social media if she did not comply.

Singh would call her from new numbers even after getting blocked

Despite her attempts to block his number, the victim reports that Singh would continuously call her from new numbers. Even when she changed her phone number, he managed to obtain the new one through her friends or college records. The relentless harassment and threats have left the student in a state of constant fear and distress.
