Lucknow Crime News: A shocking case of gang rape has emerged from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, where a fifth-grade student was brutally assaulted by two men. The incident occurred as the young girl was returning home from school.
On Monday, the 14-year-old girl was intercepted by two individuals identified as Danish and Amin while she was on her way home. The assailants forcibly snatched her school bag and coerced her into their vehicle. They then drove her to Hotel Paradise Shanti Inn, where the heinous act of gang rape took place.
Reports indicate that during the assault, the perpetrators not only violated the girl but also took obscene photographs and videos of her. In a chilling move, they threatened to make the footage public if she disclosed the incident to anyone.
After the attack, the accused abandoned the girl near her home, throwing her out of the moving vehicle. Overwhelmed and traumatized, she managed to reach her house, where she shared her horrific experience with her father.
"My daughter returned home in a state of shock. When she revealed what had happened, our world fell apart," her father lamented. The family immediately reported the incident to the local police, prompting a swift investigation.
Following the complaint, the police quickly took action. DCP South Keshav Kumar confirmed that a case of gang rape has been registered under serious sections of the Indian Penal Code. One of the suspects, Danish, has been arrested, while authorities are actively searching for the second accused, Amin.
"We have obtained CCTV footage from the hotel and are analyzing it as part of our investigation. Rest assured, we will take strict action based on the evidence that comes to light," DCP Kumar stated.
