UP News: In a shocking incident from Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, a delivery boy was murdered by two men in the Chinhat area. The police arrested both accused, whose confessions revealed a disturbing motive. They admitted to ordering two mobile phones from an online shopping platform but lacked the funds to pay for them. To avoid payment, they killed the delivery boy, stuffed his body in a sack, and threw it into the Indira Canal in the Mati area. However, the police have denied reports of the body being dismembered.

Delivery boy takes the heel 

The tragic incident occurred on September 24, when Bharat, a Flipkart delivery boy, left to deliver the phones. When he didn’t return home, his family grew concerned and filed a missing report with the Chinhat police station. For days, there was no trace of him until police tracked his mobile phone's last location to a house in the same area. Upon further investigation, two individuals, Gajanand and Akash, were taken into custody. During questioning, they confessed to the murder.

According to the accused, they had planned to kill the delivery boy to obtain the phones without payment. After committing the murder, they discarded his body in a sack in the canal. The police, along with SDRF divers, are still searching for the body in the Indira Canal. The police are currently interrogating the suspects, but they have clarified that the body was not dismembered, contrary to earlier reports.
