One of the survivors, Akash Singh, who worked in the building’s godown, shared that they had noticed a crack in one of the building's pillars before the collapse. "We had come down to the ground floor because it was raining. We noticed a crack had developed on a pillar. Suddenly, the entire building collapsed on us," Singh told PTI.
