A heartbreaking incident has come to light in the South Pargana district of West Bengal. A massive explosion has taken place under the Dholahat police station in the Pathar Pratima area, in which 7 people, including 4 children, have died. Apart from this, many others have been seriously injured. According to a report by news agency PTI, four children were also involved in this incident, who lost their lives. According to the police, the explosion took place in a gas cylinder, which happened while fireworks were being made in the area.
In this case, the police say that the explosion occurred when some people were engaged in making fireworks illegally and suddenly the gas cylinder exploded. The explosion was so powerful that a loud sound was heard in the surrounding area and the walls of many houses also cracked. After this accident, seven people lost their lives, including four children, while many others were injured.
Officers of Dholahat police station visited the spot and started investigation. Police said that the work of making fireworks was illegal and the use of this cylinder was also dangerous. During this, police officials said that such illegal activities pose a threat to the lives of common people.
After the incident, the local people are very angry about this incident and have demanded strict action from the administration. They say that such dangerous work should be strictly prohibited so that such accidents do not happen in future.
