Lover throws acid on woman's face after she refused to do THIS | VIDEO

New Delhi: A distressing incident has rocked the tranquil streets of Lucknow as a woman fell victim to an acid attack after rejecting a love proposal. The perpetrator, whose advances were repeatedly rebuffed by the victim, resorted to a violent act of revenge. The victim reported that the accused had been pursuing her relentlessly for days, bombarding her with calls and messages from multiple phone numbers. Despite blocking eight of his numbers, the harassment continued unabated as he used new numbers to evade detection.

Terrifying encounter and attack

In a calculated move, the accused lured the victim to meet him, where he forcibly held her and viciously threw acid on her face. The attack has left the victim severely injured, highlighting the grave consequences of unrequited affection turned violent.

Police investigation and action

Police have initiated an investigation into the case, registering a complaint based on the victim's statement. Efforts are underway to apprehend the perpetrator and bring him to justice for this heinous act of violence.

Man attacks NEET aspirant with acid 

In another similar incident which has surfaced in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow where a student was attacked with acid by a young man on Wednesday. The victim was going for NEET counseling along with her brother when the unfortuate incident took place. Both the victim and her brother were injured in this acid attack and were admitted in the hospital. 

Woman throws acid on three youths 

Another incident reported from Badi Polaikala in Shajapur district, a girl allegedly threw acid on three youths. The victims, identified as Sunil Bairagi, Rakesh Kir, and Vishal Patel, sustained injuries and are currently undergoing treatment at Shajapur District Hospital.
