After receiving warm welcome in her home town, Chandigarh, Shweta Sharda, Miss Diva Universe 2023 is all set to bring back the Miss Universe Crown to India. Recently, Shweta won the prestigious title in Mumbai.After, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, who was crowned as Miss Universe 2021, Shweta wants to emulate this success.The dancer-model will be representing India at the upcoming 72nd Miss Universe pageant which will take place in El Salvador, later this year. Her achievement has embarked a special joy and pleasure among her family members.While talking to ANI, Shweta said, “Im very grateful to have got this opportunity to represent my country at the Miss Universe pageant. Everyone dreams of representing their country on any global stage at least once in his or her lifetime. I am privileged to have got this opportunity and I will put my heart and soul into it. I just want to win the pageant and bring the crown back to India.”Shweta continued saying, “A tremendous sense of satisfaction and excitement comes from winning the Miss Diva India pageant. Ive been dreaming about this moment for so long, and seeing it come true is simply beyond words. I am incredibly grateful and eager for the journey that lies ahead, and Im looking forward to making my nation and my family proud by bringing the Miss Universe Crown back to India.”She also gave credit to her mother for her success.Shweta, a 22 -year-old girl, who hails from Chandigarh, was relocated to Mumbai at 16 to fulfil her dreams. As being passionate about dance, she has been featured in several dance shows including DID, Dance Deewane and Jhalak Dikhlaja.Since 1994, three Indian beauties have won the Miss Universe crown, with Sushmita Sen, Lara Dutta, Harnaz Sandhu in 1994, 2000, and 2022, respectively.
