Lok Sabha Elections 2024: In its latest move ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its second list of candidates for the southern state of Karnataka, declaring 20 candidates out of the total 28 seats.Former Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is set to contest from Haveri. Currently, this constituency is held by BJPs Shivkumar Udasi. Bommai, presently an MLA from Shiggaon, falls within the Haveri district.Among the key figures announced, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje will contest from Bangalore North, succeeding Sadananda Gowda.
