Lok Sabha elections 2024: JP Nadda to meet states' co-in charge and election in-charge today

A meeing is allotted for today where JP Nadda will converse with the BJP's election coordinator and co-convener of all states. The president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), JP Nadda, will meet at the party headquarters in the nation's capital with the election in charge and the co-in-charge of each state before the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

This year, in April and May, the Lok Sabha elections will take place. With the elections approaching soon the discussions must take place and things have to be organized timely.

Lok Sabha elections 2019

In the previous Lok Sabha elections of 2019, the UPA secured 91 seats, the NDA 353 seats, and Others 98 seats. Approximately 67% of the over 900 million eligible voters cast ballots in the seven staggered phases of voting that took place between April 11 and May 19 in order to elect 542 members of the Lok Sabha. 

Today's meeting on Lok Saha elections

The top sources of BJP have shared that, "BJP President JP Nadda will hold a big meeting today regarding the Lok Sabha elections. The meeting will be held at BJP headquarters. Election in-charges and co-in-charges of all the states will attend the meeting."

"There will be discussion in the meeting regarding the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections," the party sources informed.

The sources further disclosed "Amit Shah is also likely to join the meeting. All state election in-charges have been asked to bring a report on ongoing government campaigns and schemes." 

PM Modi's 'GYAN'

The BJP has set its eyes on 'GYAN' in order to reap the desired electoral harvest. The party is determined to capture the highest number of seats in the next Lok Sabha elections, in accordance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's aim of 370-plus for the party and '400 paar' (beyond 400) for the NDA. 

'GYAN', an acronym that PM Modi himself coined, stands for 'Garib' (poor), 'Yuva' (youth), 'Annadata' (farmers), and 'Nari' (women). 

Notable changes are occurring in India's political scene as the Lok Sabha elections approach. The Indian National Democratic Alliance (INDA) consortium is preparing to take on the long-standing National Democratic Alliance.
