The Central Election Committee (CEC) of the Congress party will hold its second meeting on Monday evening at the All India Congress Committee (AICC) headquarters in Delhi.According to the sources, the meeting will take place at 6 PM which will be presided by the national party president Mallikarjun Kharge. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, the chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party, are also anticipated to attend the meeting.According to the reports, talks would take place over the Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.Before this, Congress released its first list of candidates for 39 Lok Sabha constituencies on March 8.The Lok Sabha seats of Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshwadeep, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Telangana, and Tripura had their names announced.16 candidates from Kerala, 7 from Karnataka, 6 from Chhattisgarh, and 4 from Telangana are among the 39 total candidates that have been declared.
