With the help of party leader JP Nadda, the BJP on Monday kicked off an extensive two-week campaign to solicit ideas for its Lok Sabha election manifesto. The campaign will involve video raths that will visit more than 4,000 assembly constituencies nationwide.
In addition to accepting suggestions via the NaMo App, the party is hosting meetings with opinion leaders, putting suggestion boxes in 6,000 locations, and sending out cadre members door-to-door as part of the campaign.
Nadda stated that hopes for "Viksit Bharat," "Atmanirbhar Bharat," and "Vishwamitra Bharat," which looked unattainable in 2014, are now becoming a reality under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He conveyed this at the launch of the "Sankalp Patra Suggestion Campaign" for the Lok Sabha elections.
While Nadda launched 25 video raths from Delhi with the phrase "Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar" and the pledge of a "Viksit Bharat" as "Modi ki Guarantee," 1,000 raths will be put into service over the course of the following two weeks.
82 delegates from different state units attended a workshop on Monday with BJP general secretaries Sunil Bansal, Tarun Chugh, and joint general secretary (organization) Shiv Prakash to discuss the crowd-sourcing exercise that will take place in each state in the near future. The goal of the campaign, which ends on March 15, is to reach one crore people in support of the "Pledge Paper" manifesto.
A component of this effort to solicit proposals for the Sankalp Patra is a 'Missed Call' drive. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that, in preparation for his plans for his third term, he has been gathering input from the public for the past 1.5 years via his NaMo App.
As of now, the PM has reportedly received 15 lakh suggestions. The BJP will accept suggestions for the manifesto using the NaMo App through March 15. For Sankalp Patra, it will also make use of Instagram, X, and WhatsApp.
Chugh stated that during the public programs, the suggestion boxes will be placed in 6,000 locations. Additionally, our employees will knock on doors in their communities to gather ideas for the Sankalp Patra. The party will also meet with groups of influential people and individuals from a variety of professions, including teachers, doctors, athletes, farmers, fishermen, and traders. This process will take place in 250 locations. The program will include the involvement of 125 BJP leaders.
