New Delhi: Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and BJP-led central government are hatching a conspiracy to arrest Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in connection with the Excise Policy case. These claims were made by AAP leader Sanjaya Singh. On Monday, Kejriwal was questioned and his statement recorded at Tihar Jail. The CBI has also secured permission to present him before the concerned trial court. Kejriwal is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.

Allegations of conspiracy

AAP leader Sanjay Singh has accused the central BJP government of conspiring with the CBI. "The central BJP government has hatched a big conspiracy in connivance with the CBI," Singh asserted, reflecting the party's stance on the arrest and the ongoing investigation.

Legal controversy

In a related development, Delhi High Court allowed the Enforcement Directorate's (ED) plea to stay the trial court's bail order for Kejriwal. Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj criticized the High Court's decision, stating, "It is very unusual that without reading the order of the trial court, Delhi High Court stayed the court order granting bail to Kejriwal. We will make a legal strategy regarding it." This move has raised questions about the judicial process and the political motivations behind it.

Political implications

The arrest of Kejriwal has significant political ramifications. As a prominent leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), his detention is likely to escalate tensions between the central government and the Delhi administration. The AAP has consistently maintained that the allegations are politically motivated and designed to undermine their leadership.

Looking Ahead

As the legal proceedings continue, all eyes will be on the court's decisions and the strategies employed by both sides. Kejriwal's appearance in court tomorrow will be a crucial moment in this unfolding political drama.
