Delhi LG suspends AAP minister Saurabh Bhardwaj's OSD; Here's why

Dr. RN Das, OSD to Health Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, was suspended by Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on Wednesday due to his suspected involvement in the irregular and unlawful registration of private nursing facilities. The order issued by the Hon'ble Lt. Governor of Delhi states that disciplinary proceedings are being considered against Dr. R.N. Das, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), to the Minister of Health, Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. In accordance with sub-rule (1) of Rule 10 of the CCS (CCA) Rules, 1965, the Hon'ble Lt. Governor has exercised the power to immediately suspend Dr. R.N. Das from his position as OSD to the Minister of Health, GNCTD.

The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has issued an order suspending Dr. R.N. Das, who serves as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Minister of Health in the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The suspension, effective immediately, comes under the authority granted by sub-rule (1) of Rule 10 of the CCS (CCA) Rules, 1965.

Additionally, the order mandates that Dr. R.N. Das must remain stationed at the headquarters in Delhi for the duration of the suspension period. Any departure from Delhi headquarters requires prior authorization from the Competent Authority, as stipulated in the official directive.
