Sources suggest that the Goldie Brar-Lawrence Bishnoi gang, notorious for threatening Punjabi artists, might be involved in this case. This gang has a history of targeting prominent figures in the Punjabi music scene, including taking responsibility for the murder of Sidhu Moosewala. The possibility of the same gang's involvement in the attack on Dhillon's home is currently under investigation.
