Kolkata rape murder case: Former principal held meeting with hospital staffs without informing police

In a recent development in the Kolkata rape murder case, media reports suggests the former principal of the RG Kar Medical College, Sandeep Ghosh was allegedly involved in corrupt practices. According to reports, Sandeep Ghosh, former principal of RG Kar Medical college and Hospital got to know about the incident at 7 am on August 9 by an associate. Later he held a meeting with the hospital staffs without informing the cops. The police got to know about the meeting afterward.

CBI to conduct polygraphy

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has been investigating the rape and murder case of a 31- year old trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. After a long interrogation of the victim's family done by a three-member CBI forensic team. CBI has decided to conduct a polygraph test on Sanjay Roy. A court in Kolkata has allowed the CBI to conduct a polygraph test on the accused.

Sandeep Ghosh under interrogation

The CBI is continuously questioning Sandeep Ghosh about the meeting he held right after the incident took place without informing the police. According to media reports, Ghosh was informed at 7 am on August 9 by a close friend that the body of a trainee doctor was lying in the seminar hall of the Hospital, Ghosh immediately called for a meeting after learning about the incident.

The former principal underwent prolonged CBI interrogation for more than 13 hours after the heinous incident of rape and murder, including his meeting with hospital staffs before informing the police. CBI officials questioned Ghosh for the fourth consecutive days on Monday.
