New Delhi: Kolkata's spine-chilling incident has sparked outrage all over the nation, regarding the seriousness of the case, As CBI investigations proceed, another protest has been staged. This time angry crowds have gathered in several parts of Kolkata's Shyambazar, New Town's Biswa Bangla Gate, Sodpur Traffic More, Sinthir More, Jadavpur 8B bus stand, Hazra More, Behala Sakher Bazar, and Lake Gardens in show of resistance for the justice of the victim. Previously, the city witnessed candle marches throughout. The participants of the protest also organized street plays against the horrific crime against the victim.

Various acclaimed artists and actors have also participated in the protest, like Swastika Mukherjee and Sohini Sarkar. 

Apart from Kolkata, similar protests can be seen throughout the country. Some of them are protests at Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia hospital, where doctors carried out candlelight protests, and in Bhirbhum district state as well, where people clocked in large numbers to the march. 

Human chain by lawyers in Kolkata 

Earlier in the day, lawyers from Calcutta High Court and Bankshall Court formed a human chain outside the respective institutions while raising slogans outside the building. The lawyers later also rallied; since the body of the doctor was found, the anger within the crowds protested across the nation. The CBI is handling the probe as you read this, and we can hope for a speedy investigation.
