According to the police, Praveen Nath, who was the first transgender bodybuilder in Kerala, reportedly took his own life on Thursday by consuming poison at his home in the suburbs of the city.

Praveen Nath, who was in his late 20s and the first transgender bodybuilder in Kerala, allegedly consumed poison and committed suicide at his residence in the suburbs of the city on Thursday afternoon. His body has been taken to the Government Medical College Hospital in the city.

Earlier this year, on Valentine’s Day, Nath married his transgender partner. According to the police, he had consumed poison at his residence in the city’s suburbs on Thursday afternoon.
