A tragic accident in Thotadda near Edakkad in Keralas Kannur district has claimed the life of one person and left at least 25 people injured.In the horrific accident, a tourist bus from Kallada Travels travelling from Mangaluru to Pathanamthitta collided with a mini container lorry which was travelling to Kannur. Following the collision, the bus flipped on its side, trapping the passengers inside.One bus passenger, who was trapped inside the bus, has died, the police have confirmed. The persons body has been taken to Kannur district hospital.“The accident occurred at midnight. The bus of Kallada travels was travelling from Mangalore to Pathanamthitta. The injured were admitted to different hospitals,” said the Edakkad Police.Woman and driver remain in critical condition after Kerala accidentAmong the people who have been injured in the accident, a woman and the driver of the truck remain in critical condition, as reported by the Kerala-based Manorama News.After the accident, the passengers attracted the attention of the local residents, who informed the authorities.
