Delhi Chief Minister and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal made a jab at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led central government, stating that senior BJP figures like Shivraj Chouhan and Vasundhara Raje might start their own parties if the Enforcement Directorate is closed down today and Section 45 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act is repealed.

The comment from the party chief came while meeting with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi in Delhi. The politicians reportedly got together to talk about the distribution of seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
In an effort to show his support for the imprisoned leader, whom ED had detained, Kejriwal also spoke over the phone with Kalpana Murmu Soren, the wife of his former chief minister of Jharkhand, on Sunday.

Taking it to his X handle, Kalpana thanked Kejriwal for extending support.

"Today I had a phone conversation with Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi, @ArvindKejriwal. Thanks to Arvind ji that at this time he is with Jharkhandi warrior Hemant ji and JMM family," she said in post on X in Hindi.

Further in the tweet, she lashed out at BJP and accused the BJP of "sabotaging" democracy in Jharkhand, Delhi and other states ruled by any non-BJP government.

Later responding to Kalpana's post on X, Kejriwal extended his support and said if Hemant Soren had gone with the BJP he would not be in jail today.
