The day for opening the doors of Kedarnath Dham has been decided. After this, the doors will be opened as per the rules. Before the doors are opened on April 27, Bhairav ​​Puja will be organized in the Omkareshwar temple of Ukhimath. After this, the palanquin of Baba Kedar will leave for Kedarnath Dham. After this, the palanquin of Baba Kedarnath will be taken to Guptkashi on April 28, from here it will reach Phata on April 29 and then the palanquin will reach Gaurikund on April 30. Baba Kedarnath's palanquin will reach Kedarnath on May 1 and then the doors of Kedarnath temple will be opened the next day on May 2 at 7 am.

Worship according to the Shaivite Lingayat method
When the doors of Kedarnath Dham open, the entire temple premises are filled with chants of Baba Kedarnath and the sound of drums and trumpets echoes. After this, devotees can have darshan of Baba Kedarnath. After the doors are opened, devotees worship Baba Kedarnath properly. This worship is done according to the Shaiva Lingayat method.
